Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT) For Cancer

IPT Therapy-IPT Cancer Treatment

What Is Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT) ?

Insulin Potentiation Therapy or IPT Low Dose Chemotherapy therapy represents a dramatic shift in the treatment of cancer. IPT utilizes the glucose regulating hormone, which the body produces naturally, to potentiate or augment the delivery of chemotherapy medicine by making cancer cell membranes more permeable. The goal is to make pharmacological treatments more effective while reducing the harsh side effects.

Here at Gentle Wellness Center, we are honored to offer IPT therapy as an alternative cancer treatment. Our cancer therapy doctor is one of only 135 physicians in the world trained in this innovative alternative medicine approach.

How Does IPT Work Against Cancer Cells?

Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT) is an alternative cancer treatment that effectively fights many types of cancers — without the side effects associated with traditional chemotherapy, such as nausea, hair loss, liver damage, and more.

All cells depend on a specific hormone to help them absorb glucose (sugar) from the blood. This hormone attaches to the cells’ receptors and acts like a key, opening channels in the cell wall that allow nutrients to enter.

The glucose is transported across the cell membrane into the cell, where it is made into energy. Cancer cells have between six to 15 times more receptors on their surface than normal cells, which is why cancer cells perform better in the competition for food, absorbing the large amounts of glucose that help them grow.

During IPT Cancer Treatment, this glucose regulating hormone is administered to the patient, which decreases the body’s sugar levels. Normal cells switch to metabolizing fat. Cancer cells, which live on sugar, respond to the glucose regulating hormone by opening all their membranes as they attempt to get more glucose.

At this point, a low amount of chemotherapy is administered, followed by glucose. The cancer cells absorb the chemotherapy drugs along with the glucose, and the drugs poison and kill the cancer cells.

How Is IPT For Cancer Different From Traditional Chemo?

By targeting chemotherapy drugs directly to cancer cells, smaller doses of these powerful drugs are required to kill the cancer cells.

The most effective IPT Cancer Treatments use only 4-10% of the standard amount of chemotherapy, and the lower the dose, the fewer nasty side effects experienced by the patient.

IPT Therapy is essential for patients who cannot tolerate the extreme side effects that accompany larger doses of chemotherapy drugs.

Additional Advantages of IPT For Cancer Treatment

  • IPT therapy helps larger concentrations of chemo drugs enter cancer cells. A Georgetown University Medical School study showed that common chemotherapy drugs penetrate cancer cells 10,000 times faster when using this technique.
  • This therapy improves not only the delivery of the chemo drugs to the cancer cells, but also to help these cells transition to their growth phase. When cancer cells are in this phase, they are more vulnerable to the effects of the chemotherapy drugs, making IPT therapy even more productive.
  • IPT therapy protects healthy cells. Chemo drugs do not enter healthy cells at the same rate because normal cells have fewer hormone receptors than cancer cells. The chemotherapy drugs are successfully targeted to the cancer cells while having little effect on other cells, which helps to protect healthy cells and preserve the immune system.
  • IPT therapy helps cancer patients maintain their appetite and metabolism, helping them to avoid the wasting stage that can accompany standard cancer treatments.
  • IPT therapy may help the body to detoxify. When the cancer cells are killed, toxins are flushed into circulation and eliminated from the body.

Our Other Therapies That Support IPT For Cancer Treatment

With the mind/body/spirit connection being so intricately connected, the team here at the Gentle Wellness Center believes in always treating the patient as a whole in order to fully eliminate the cause of an individual’s negative health issue.

To do this we work together to address your cancer with multiple therapies that all support each other. Using multiple supportive therapies takes care of you as a whole making your body a united front when it comes to fighting your cancer. A few of our supportive therapies and testing are listed below:

Greek Testing

The RGCC test is used to create a highly individualized cancer treatment plan as it pinpoints and highlights specific types of cancer cells within a patient’s body. The information gleaned from the test is used to eliminate ineffective treatments and protocols.

“German” Chemosensitivity Test

Before even contemplating which cancer treatments to recommend to a cancer patient, we first use chemosensitivity tests to determine which agents would be optimal for killing the cells found in the individual. With new technologies supporting the belief that cancers can be as unique as each person, these tests can dramatically shorten treatment times while drastically improving the effectiveness of treatment.

Cancer Nutritional Program

Establishing a diet that is rich in cancer-fighting vitamins, minerals, and nutrients, and low in compounds that increase cancer risks is essential to support IPT Cancer Treatments and other alternative cancer therapies. Through our cancer nutritional program our nutritional coach will teach you about these powerful cancer-fighting foods and give you the information you need to make better nutritional choices during your treatment.
