MICRONEEDLING

Microneedling is a procedure that uses small, sterile needles to slightly prick the skin. The purpose of treatment is to generate new collagen and skin tissue for a more smoother, firmer, toned appearance. Microneedling is mostly used on the face and may treat various scars, wrinkles, and large pores. It is minimally invasive, requiring little to no downtime. BENEFITS

  • Reduces acne, burns, & surgical scars
  • Reduces fine lines, wrinkles, stretch marks & loose skin
  • Reduces large, visible pores
  • Reduces symptoms of rosacea, melasma, & hyperpigmentation
  • Improves skin tone & texture; anti-aging treatment

PROCESS

Before the start of treatment, a numbing cream will be applied over the treatment area, which takes an average of 30 minutes for the area to be numbed. Once the area has been numbed, a sterile single-use cartridge containing 14 microneedles is attached to the MicroPen EVO that will then gently glide over your skin until the entire treatment area has been covered.

The actual treatment itself typically takes between 15 to 30 minutes depending upon the size of the area.

With the MicroPen EVO being a non-invasive cosmetic procedure, there is little to no downtime: this allows patients to seek treatment every 1 to 2 months depending upon the nature of the desired results. If your goal is to resolve specific skin impurities, you may need between 3 to 6 treatments at 4-6 week intervals.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Although Microneeding is ideal for all skin types, the following conditions should not use the MicroPen EVO:
